What is it and what is it for?

Acofar Esparadrapo Esparadrapo Tejido S/Tejer is a product for medical use, developed by the Acofar laboratories, as an ideal option for firmly holding bandages or gauze. It is a porous, breathable and adaptable type of fabric, easy to use and will not cause any adverse reaction when in contact with the skin.

It has been dermatologically tested to ensure its safety and efficacy. Suitable for contact with all skin types, even the most sensitive and irritated. Easily adheres to other fabrics such as bandages and gauze, allowing them to be fixed quickly and easily.

It comes in a roll format, with a length of up to 5 metres, which can be cut according to the measurements required in each situation. Its size or width corresponds to 2.5 cm.

It provides a strong and breathable fixation that will collaborate with the protection and care of any wound. As it is a non-woven fabric, the plaster does not contain any parts that could press or rub and negatively affect both the gauze and the skin itself, as its surface will be flat, smooth and pleasant to the touch.

Who is it suitable for?

It is specifically indicated for the fixation of bandages and gauze. It can be used on all types of people, including adults, children and even babies, as the material it is made of will not cause any allergic reaction.

Instructions for use

To use this product correctly, the following instructions should be followed:

  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect the wound or affected skin area.
  • Place the gauze or bandage so that it covers the entire affected area.
  • Fix the gauze or bandage using this product by pressing lightly so that it adheres well.

When fixing the bandage or gauze, this should be done carefully, without pressing too hard so as not to hinder the blood circulation in the area. The tape can be cut to the size required at the time. It is advisable to make the cut after fixing the gauze.

Contraindications

Remove and discontinue use if any adverse skin reaction to the plaster is noted. Do not consume. Keep away from any source of ignition, as the fabric is flame retardant. Keep out of reach of small children who may misuse it. Do not use directly on wounds or skin lesions.
