It is a medicine in tablet form that is very effective in tackling the symptoms of dyspepsia, which include nausea, flatulence, indigestion, heartburn or bloating.
Intended for use in adults over 18 years of age.
Take 1 tablet orally twice daily, preferably with water.
Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve after 14 days.
Do not use Hepamed tablets:
In children under 18 years of age.
In case of allergy to dandelion, boldo, artichoke, milk thistle or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
If you suffer from liver disorders, intestinal or bile duct obstruction, active peptic ulcer, gallstones, cholangitis or other biliary disorders.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, unless otherwise recommended by a doctor.
HepaMed may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In this case, the following have been observed
Gastrointestinal problems: upset stomach, diarrhoea, cramps, abdominal pain, nausea, hyperacidity and heartburn.
Allergic skin reactions: pruritus, urticaria, anaphylactic shock.
Each tablet of HepaMed contains the following active ingredients: 4.6 mg of fresh leaf extract of Cynara scolymus L., 1.2 mg of extract of the aerial part and fresh root of Taraxacum officinale, 0.7 mg of extract of the leaf of Peumus boldus Molina and 3.2 mg of extract of the fruit of Silybum marianum. The other excipients are: microcrystalline cellulose and glycerol diestearat.
