The Futuro plantar arch support for plantar fasciitis, manufactured by 3M, is a therapeutic product designed to provide compression, support and cushioning to the plantar arch. The product is based on two removable inserts that can be placed in the positioning band for easy fitting. It can be worn with or without socks and shoes, as its format is comfortable, lightweight and slim enough to be out of the way.
The size is universal, designed for an instep measurement of 21.6 to 30.5 cm, the global standard for the foot. The material used for the product is breathable, allowing the skin to breathe normally and thus avoiding irritation or accumulation of moisture in the area.
It is indicated for people who have the condition of plantar fasciitis and perform daily or sporting activities that require prolonged standing or other demanding physical exertion on the feet.
It is advisable to take one of the supports, open its straps and place it under the arch of the foot. Each support will have leather icons on one side, this indicates that this side is placed on the inside of the arch. Once in position, close the straps at the top of the foot, using the hook that is present at the toe. When closing the support, use the hook to pull upwards and thus place the plantar arch in the correct position.
The bands are designed to be used on both feet to achieve correct body alignment. In addition, it is recommended that they be worn for 4 hours on the first day and removed, then increased by 1 or 2 hours daily for a week for optimal results. If more support is required, the insole can be replaced with a dark blue insole.
Use only if you have symptoms of plantar fasciitis, do not use as a preventative method. Keep the product away from any source of ignition or heat, as the material is flammable. Avoid use if an allergic reaction is observed on skin contact. Discontinue use if deterioration of the insole is observed.
