The Futuro ankle brace size S, manufactured by 3M, is a textile product made from a combination of elastic textile fibres that provide a comfortable and moderate fit to help people with weak or injured ankles. It can be used on both feet, provided that the strap or gauze is applied to the outer side of the foot.

The gauze strap of the ankle brace allows it to be adjusted to the needs of each individual. In addition, this strap is thin and will not bother too much when wearing any type of footwear.

It is advisable to use following the following steps for a comfortable and correct application:

• First slide the foot over the elastic part of the product. In case you want to use the supports on both feet, it should be noted that in this case the support of the other foot should be inverted.
• Once the elastic support is positioned in the centre of each foot, the excess strap is used to wrap around the ankle.
• Finally, ensure that the gauze anchorage is preferably at the top of the ankle. Adjust it according to the comfort of each individual, but it is recommended to avoid anchoring it to the hooks on the inside of the foot, as this may cause discomfort or irritation if footwear is worn.
