HIGH FRUCTOSE ENERGY DRINK is a drink formulated with maltodextrin and fructose, in a 10:8 ratio, with a carbohydrate intake of 87g per serving and 347 Kcal. It also contains 500 mg of sodium. It is suitable for vegans, gluten-free and available in three flavours. HIGH FRUCTOSE ENERGY DRINK provides 87g of carbohydrate and 500 mg of sodium per serving from maltodextrin and fructose in a 10:8 ratio.
This formulation based on "multi-transportable carbohydrates" has been shown in studies* that in prolonged exercise, the use of carbohydrates that are absorbed in the intestine by different transporters is the only way to increase the rate of assimilation and oxidation of exogenous carbohydrates above 60g/hour*.
To achieve this, research confirms that a combination of carbohydrate sources is ideal. We have opted for Maltodextrin, to control the molecular weight/osmolarity, and the other must be Fructose.
