Vitreoclar Gold 30 Orosoluble Stick is a chewable food supplement based on Biocell Collagen® (hydrolysed type II collagen: type II collagen, chondroitin sulphate and hyaluronic acid) with glucosamine and proanthocyanidins from grapevine (Vitis vinifera) seed extract and vitamin E.
It has antioxidant capabilities that provide protection against ocular cell degeneration, as it contains nutrients useful for the renewal and protection of connective tissues such as the vitreous body, which is why it is commonly used to treat myodesopsia (also known as floaters) and retinopathy.
The vitreous body is composed primarily of collagen, hyaluronic acid and proteoglycans that are constantly undergoing a balanced process of oxidative and enzymatic synthesis and degradation. However, degenerative processes may begin to prevail over sintering processes due to ageing or particular situations, which is why it is necessary to act by blocking cellular oxidation and stimulating regeneration through the provision of suitable nutrients such as collagen, vitamin E, antioxidants and glucosamine.
Vitreoclar Gold 30 Orosoluble Stick of 2.5 g is indicated to promote eye health by helping to slow the development of myodesopsia and retinopathy. It is prescribed in chewable form especially for children and the elderly, as the chewable form greatly facilitates absorption.
This product is suitable for people with coeliac disease, egg allergy or intolerance, and for those intolerant to milk.
It is advisable to take one 2.5 g stick a day dissolved directly in the mouth. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
