Utipro Plus 30 capsules

Utipro Plus is a product formulated to help prevent urinary tract infections. It is able to create a mucoprotective film that helps to reduce the proliferation and adhesion of pathogens in the intestines, thus preventing the migration of bacteria from the intestine to the urinary tract. It is a product formulated with xyloglucan, which acts mechanically in the lumen of the intestine, preventing pathogens from coming into contact with the intestinal mucosa. It also helps to prevent the appearance of infections caused by bacteria such as E. coli and other gram (-) bacteria that are commonly involved in urological infections, such as painful urination, vaginal itching or frequent and urgent need to urinate.

On the other hand, it protects the bladder by inhibiting the growth and proliferation of uropathogenic bacteria. In this way, the first symptoms and progression of acute urinary tract infections can be controlled.

It is especially indicated for women over 14 years of age who suffer from urinary tract infections or recurrent urinary tract infections. It should not be used by patients who are hypersensitive to gelatine or to any of the components of the product.

This treatment is recommended to be taken in two ways. If there is an acute urinary tract infection, the recommended dose is 2 capsules a day, one in the morning and one in the evening, for 5 days. For the prevention of recurrent infections, it is recommended to take 1 capsule a day for 15 days over a three-month period.

Keep this product in a cool, dry place. Although no adverse reactions have been reported, it should not be used during pregnancy or during the first months of lactation. Do not use this product after the expiry date printed on the pack. Do not take the capsules if the blister is open or damaged. Keep out of the reach of children. Urinary tract infections should be diagnosed by a competent health care professional; therefore, we recommend consulting a doctor if there are severe symptoms such as high fever, if the patient is under 12 years of age or if other diseases or risk factors are present.
