URGO SOS Cuts Self-adhesive tape is a product that complies with European health regulations. It is extensible, easy to use and does not require the use of scissors to cut it to the size needed at all times.

The band has a hygienic self-adhesive that is not harmful when it comes into contact with the skin or even the wound. Its main function is to stop bleeding from slight to moderate compression. In addition, it provides quick and easy emergency first aid. In case of any superficial cut, it protects the wound from external agents.

Its application will stop the bleeding quickly so that the wound can be properly sanitised and a dressing can be applied as soon as possible.

It is indicated to help in the treatment of skin wounds, preferably superficial. It is suitable for adults, children over 3 years of age, adolescents and the elderly, but is not recommended for diabetics.

Here are the steps to follow to use this product:

• Pull the band to the desired length depending on the type of wound on which it is to be used, as well as the area where it is located.
• Wrap the polyester band around the wound and surrounding skin 2 to 3 times.
• Press the opening of the roll where the band comes and stretch to cut it.
• Remove the band from the wound once the bleeding has stopped or about 30 minutes have passed since it was applied.
• Clean, disinfect and dry the wound. If necessary, a dressing may be applied.

Care should be taken when applying the bandage, as it should not be too tight. If you wear it and feel any unpleasant tingling sensation, it means that it is too tight and is interfering with normal blood flow. When inserting, avoid touching the part that will be in contact with the skin to avoid possible contamination and reduce the risk of infection.

Once a portion of the band has been applied, it should not be reused, as this would increase the risk of infection. For topical and superficial use only. Do not ingest or apply to deep wounds.
