When ingested in adequate amounts, these microorganisms have a positive effect on health, helping to improve the balance of the intestinal microbiota. This strain reproduces by fermentation, is facultatively aerobic and anaerobic, both hetero- and homofermentative, and resistant to high temperatures.
Prob-activ 109 is a single-strain probiotic containing Lactobacillus acidophilus-LR-2, providing TWO BILLION active microorganisms per capsule.
