3M Tegaderm Pad 10x9 cm sterile dressing in a pack of 5 units is a self-adhesive compress to help heal acute injuries and wounds. It has a waterproof pad that reduces the risk of moisture and bacteria entering the wound. It is also breathable and suitable for the treatment of chronic ulcers, wounds, burns, surgical incisions and other lacerations.

It is coated with an inert acrylic adhesive that is protected by paper to keep it sterile until use. In addition, it has a transparent, semi-permeable polyurethane backing that helps keep moisture and bacteria that could complicate recovery away from the wound. The central pad has absorbent properties that allow fluids to pass through. It is elastic and adapts easily to the area of the body that needs to be healed.

For greater safety and hygiene, it has been sterilised by irradiation. On the other hand, it is designed to be placed on the affected area without causing tension, without being touched by hands or wrinkles that allow water and other external agents to enter. Store at room temperature and away from sources of excessive heat or light. Keep away from children. Dispose of in an appropriate container, never in the toilet.

Do not use if the size of the pad does not cover the entire wound. Do not place on a bleeding wound or a wound with signs of severe infection. Never use as a suture replacement.
