Royal Canin Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie food for dogs with urinary problems

Royal Canin Canine Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie is a complete and balanced food for the nutritional management of dogs with struvite and oxalate urinary stones with a tendency to put on weight. Its specific formula has been created by veterinary nutritionists to ensure that your pet is in the best hands.

This dog food helps to effectively dissolve stones and creates an acidic urinary pH that is unfavourable for bacterial growth. It is recommended for dissolution of struvite stones, bacterial cystitis and management of struvite and calcium oxalate urolithiasis relapses.

It incorporates a low magnesium content and a limited level of proteins, but of extreme quality. Its low calorie content makes it recommended for overweight dogs where it is difficult to maintain ideal weight, due to sterilisation or low activity. If your pet is in one of these cases, think about changing its diet.

Unsaturated urine creates an environment where stones cannot grow, thus preventing stone formation. Urinary dilution reduces the concentration of oxalate and struvite stones, and increased urinary volume also helps bladder maintenance.
