Royal Canin Skin Care Small Dog is a complete and balanced food specially formulated for the daily feeding of adult dogs under 10 kg with dermatological problems not associated with food intolerances or allergies. It is indicated for atopic dermatitis, ichthyosis, maintenance of epidermal function, pyoderma, flea allergy dermatitis, skin care and otitis externa. This diet promotes the natural resistance of the skin.
It is made with highly digestible proteins and a fibre blend to support a healthy digestive system. It also contains nutrients that help maintain dental health. Benefits usually begin to be seen after one epidermal renewal cycle (21 days), although best results are seen after two months of continuous feeding.
The combination of essential fatty acids from flaxseed, soya, borage and fish oils supports the skin's natural defences and helps to reduce the signs associated with dermatological disease. It contains a proprietary blend of B vitamins and amino acids that strengthen the skin barrier, improving hydration and resistance, as well as a patented synergistic antioxidant complex that fights free radicals.
