Royal Canin Cardiac Canine is a food suitable for dogs suffering from any cardiac pathology between stage I and III or for those suffering from hypertension. It is an effective medicinal food for animals with this clinical condition, which often have a loss of appetite, leading to significant weight loss, but thanks to its unrestricted level of energy and protein it helps your pet to maintain an optimal weight.
Green tea polyphenols promote vasodilation and neutralise free radicals, and sodium limitation reduces the workload on the heart. Royal Canin Cardiac is low in phosphorus to minimise the risk of chronic renal failure, while L-carnitine and taurine promote and support your pet's heart contractility.
