Rovi Glycerine Suppositories Adult, 12 suppositories

It is a medicine for rectal use formulated with glycerol, an active ingredient with laxative properties that softens stools and stimulates intestinal movement to solve problems caused by occasional constipation.

Intended for use in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age who suffer from occasional constipation.

Insert a suppository deep into the rectum and suppress bowel movements for as long as possible to allow the medicine to work. Administer 1 suppository a day.

Do not exceed 7 days of treatment in a row, unless expressly recommended by your doctor.

Do not use Rovi Glycerine Suppositories:

• In children under 12 years of age.
• In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to glycerol or to any of the other components present in this medicine.
• If you have signs of undiagnosed appendicitis, acute inflammatory bowel obstruction or any situation of abdominal pain of unknown cause.
• If you have anorectal problems, inflamed haemorrhoids or haemorrhagic rectocolitis.

Rovi glycerine suppositories for adults may have side effects, as with all medicines, but this does not mean that everyone will suffer from them. In this case, the following have been observed:

• Stinging
• Irritation
• Anal itching

Each Rovi glycerine suppository contains 2.25 g of glycerol as the main active ingredient of this medicinal product. The other excipients are: stearic acid and sodium hydroxide.
