Relec Extra-strength Mosquito Repellent Spray is a spray repellent developed to prevent mosquito bites. Its main active ingredient is N-Diethyl-meta-toluamide (DEET), a chemical substance that is used worldwide for its effectiveness and recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO) for this line of products.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Read instructions before use. Topical application to the skin by spraying. Apply only to uncovered skin areas (head, arms and hands). Long trousers and long-sleeved shirt should be worn. Do not apply to clothing. Apply the product sparingly and carefully; spread evenly over the skin. Spray at a distance of 15 cm from the skin. Do not apply directly to the face. To protect against insect bites, first apply a small amount to the palm of the hand and then spread over the face. When using sunscreen, apply the sunscreen first and wait 30 minutes before applying the repellent. Can be used upside down. This product is for non-professional use (general public) outdoors and indoors in well-ventilated areas. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, nose, lips and damaged skin. Apply with care to areas where skin folds. Avoid contact with plastics, glass, synthetic leather clothing and painted surfaces. Do not apply to children under 18 years of age. Apply once daily to adults. Be sure to close the container tightly. Keep in a dry place and do not expose to direct sunlight. Do not dispose of on the ground, in watercourses, down the sink or down the drain. Dispose of contents and/or container as hazardous waste by handing it over to a hazardous waste collection point. PRECAUTIONS: Highly flammable liquid and vapours. Causes serious eye irritation. Keep out of reach of children. Do not apply to children's hands. For all other users, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before eating and drinking. Wash the skin where the product has been applied once protection is no longer necessary. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition. Do not smoke. Do not breathe spray. Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Do not apply where food, drink or feed may be contaminated. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. IN CASE OF EYE CONTACT: Rinse thoroughly with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if possible and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Contains linalool, linalyl acetate, benzyl benzoate. May cause allergic reaction. Product contains bittering agent. Do not mix with other substances or chemicals. Clinical manifestations that may occur in case of exposure and/or contact are: Irritation of eyes, skin, mucous membranes, respiratory and gastrointestinal tract. Allergic reactions (including anaphylaxis). Excessive use and/or multiple applications may cause neurological disturbances (behavioural disorders, ataxia, hypertonia, convulsions, encephalopathy and coma) Basic Actions: Remove person from site of exposure and remove contaminated or splashed clothing. In case of contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Do not forget to remove contact lenses. In contact with skin and hair, wash with plenty of water and soap, also remove product from skin folds and under fingernails. If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting, do not give anything by mouth. Call a poison control centre immediately. Keep patient at rest and maintain body temperature. If the person is unconscious, lay him/her on the side with the head lower than the rest of the body and the knees semi-bent. If necessary, transport the intoxicated person to a health care facility and whenever possible take the label or container with you. DO NOT LEAVE THE INTOXICATED PERSON ALONE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
