PRIM Hydrogel Adhesive plaster 4 units

Prim Hydrogel Adhesive Dressing in its 4 unit format is a superabsorbent sheet filled with hydrogel. They have been specially formulated to provide a more moist wound healing environment with minimal or no exudate. It is permeable to moisture vapour and air, resulting in faster and more effective healing for the treatment of pressure ulcers, stasis ulcers, first and second degree burns, abrasions, cuts and skin irritations.

Moreover, its formula helps adhesive dressings to stay on the skin for a longer period of time, without the need to change them. Also, these hydrogel sheets are easy to remove without any tissue damage to the skin. They fit snugly at the base of the wound and prevent bacterial infections and other contamination.

Its translucent gel helps to make wounds visible and its cold sensation helps to reduce pain while changing the adhesive dressing. In addition, the dressing is easy to cut so that it can be adapted to the needs of the wound site.

Prim Hydrogel Adhesive Dressing is a product indicated for the treatment of small to moderate, partial and full-thickness draining wounds; skin tears, pressure ulcers due to neuropathic and venous stasis; as well as for first and second degree burns: Indicated for the whole family.

First, it is advisable to wash and dry the area where the dressing is to be applied, so that the adhesive is more effective. Then, cut the dressing according to the size of the area where it will be placed. Place and press gently to stick effectively. The dressing will last for a couple of weeks before it needs to be changed.

Keep this product away from direct heat sources as well as direct sunlight. Keep away from young children. Do not cut the area containing the hydrogel. It is a non-cytotoxic product and does not contain starch in its composition.

Water (about 90%), propylene glycol (moisturising substance), guar gum (keeps moisture in the system) and sodium tetraborate (salt that stabilises the system).
