Pranarôm rosemary essential oil helps regulate the body. It is aromatic, rich in minerals, vitamins, tannins and rosmarinic acid. It is obtained by distilling the upper branches with flowers and buds of the rosemary plant.

Rosemary, Rosmarinus officinalis, is a shrub of the Lamiaceae family that grows wild throughout the Mediterranean. It has numerous phytopharmaceutical virtues, but is also a spice herb and a honey plant (rosemary honey is highly valued), as well as a product often used in perfumery. Its Latin name means "rose of the sea" because it grows spontaneously by the sea, but according to the evangelical tradition "rosemary" means "Mary's rose" (Rosemary in English).
