Plactive Neural is a food supplement developed by the pharmaceutical company OPKO, in its Arama natural products range. Its composition is based on Uridine 5-monophosphate, quinones, polyphenols, magnesium, L-methylfolate and vitamin B12. All its components provide nutritional support for the relief of peripheral neuropathies.

Some of its most important elements are:

• Uridine 5-monophosphate: this is an essential element for the synthesis of phospholipids that make up the cell membrane of all cells. Particularly those of neurons and glial cells that form part of the nerves.
• L-methylfolate: is the active form of vitamin B9 or folic acid and contributes to uridine synthesis and metabolic processes.
• Vitamin B12 helps neurosensory response, facilitating motor and sensory functions.

This food supplement is indicated for adults suffering from peripheral neuropathy such as lumbago, sciatica, cervical pain, carpal tunnel and many others. It provides nutritional support to accelerate the recovery of damaged cells. In addition, it has no added sugar, so it is suitable for diabetics. It can also be taken by people with intolerance to dairy derivatives and celiacs, as it does not contain lactose or gluten.
