Pileje Babybiane is a product specially formulated to be consumed by the youngest children or newborns. Its main purpose is to help treat acute gastroenteritis and antibiotic-associated diarrhoea of nosocomial origin.
Pileje Babybiane is a product containing a macrobiotic strain, which helps to regulate the digestive system and also to protect it. A very important characteristic is that it is a component that is normally found in the bacterial flora of the body. For this reason, it is easily accepted by the body without a high risk of allergic reactions.
Diarrhoea in children is something that can be dangerous because it causes them to reach a high level of dehydration and prevents the body from taking in most of the nutrients it needs to function properly and develop. To prevent this, the product acts in different ways in the body.
Firstly, it is consumed by reactions in the body caused by nosocomial antibiotics. This means that an infection was previously being treated. So, in order to minimise it, this strain helps to protect the mucous membranes of the digestive system. What it does is prevent pathogenic microorganisms from attaching and being easily eliminated. It also makes the pH of the gut more alkaline, which creates a hostile environment for bacteria.
The second benefit is that it helps to gradually stop diarrhoea and vomiting, so that the baby does not lose too many essential nutrients. It also helps the baby not to dehydrate easily and to retain much of its electrolytes.
It is indicated for newborn babies up to 4 years of age who have acute gastroenteritis or diarrhoea caused by antibiotics of nosocomial origin.
This product can only be consumed under strict medical supervision, so its dosage must be decided by the professional. This product can be diluted in an oral rehydration solution. It is always taken before a meal. Although this treatment is for 7 days, its consumption can be extended depending on the needs of each baby.
