Phonal Nasal Spray 20 ml

It is a nasal medicine formulated with benzalkonium chloride, which has antimicrobial action, and a corticosteroid with anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is therefore intended for the treatment of infectious processes in the mouth that involve inflammation (aphonia, laryngitis, pharyngotonsillitis, etc.).

Suitable for use in adults over 18 years of age.

Apply several times a day, approximately 4 to 8 times, according to need.

Do not exceed the maximum recommended dose.

• Do not use Phonal Spray if you are allergic to benzalkonium chloride or dexamethasone.

• Consult your doctor if you have problems with alcohol as this medicine contains ethanol.

• This medicine contains sodium (special care in hypertension).

• Pregnancy and lactation: use is contraindicated.

Like all medicines, Phonal spray may cause side effects:

• Frequent adverse reactions: hormonal problems (excessive hair growth), muscle weakness, purple stretch marks on the skin.

• Very common side effects: increased blood pressure, irregular or absent menstruation, weight gain.

The active ingredients of Phonal Spray are dexamethasone and benzalkonium chloride. Each millilitre contains 0.2 mg dexamethasone (as disodium phosphate) and 0.2 mg benzalkonium chloride.

The other ingredients are: ethanol, saccharin sodium, polysorbate 80 (E433), disodium phosphate, monobasic sodium phosphate, peppermint essence, anise essence and purified water.

Phonal Spray comes in a topaz glass bottle with applicator.

Use the minimum daily dose to relieve symptoms in the shortest number of days.

If you notice turbidity in the solution when using the medicine, the product should be discarded.

To apply, point the applicator towards the throat or the area to be treated and press 2 or 3 times.
