Philips Optimal White Brush Heads is an accessory specially designed to remove bacterial plaque easily. It can be fitted on a sonic motor, is of medium hardness and has the following advantages and benefits:

• Bacterial plaque is the problem you always want to remove with a dental cleaning. It is arguably the biggest culprit in all oral conditions such as gingivitis and tooth decay. The brush head alone is an ordinary toothbrush, but when coupled with the motor, its plaque removal capacity can be increased by up to seven times.
• The bristles of the attachment are designed in a diamond shape. The advantage, in this case, is that you will notice that your teeth regain their natural whiteness after a few days of use.
• The brush head has the ability to automatically adjust itself to provide optimal brushing for each tooth, adapting to its shape.
• Although it is best to change the brush every three months, the bristles contain a marker that wears down only if it is used in the mouth. This means that when the blue colour of some of the bristles is completely erased, it is recommended to move on to the next brush head.

The correct use of this product can be done by following these steps:

1. Fit one of the brush heads on the sonic motor and check that it fits correctly.
2. Moisten the brush a little and then spread some of the toothpaste of your choice.
3. Turn on the motor and insert it in the mouth.
4. Pass the brush slowly over both sides of the teeth at a 45-degree angle and massage the gums with it.
5. Wash the toothbrush, dry it and put it away.

It is recommended that each brush head is changed after three months of use for reasons of hygiene and efficiency, as the bristles of the brush are more worn than those of manual toothbrushes.
