Long description

Novalac Hydrolysed is an infant formula specially designed for infants from birth to 36 months of age who have cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA) or other digestive sensitivities.

Novalac Hydrolysed is a formula based on a hydrolysate of cow's milk protein (casein), specially designed for the dietary management of infants and children with cow's milk protein allergy.

Novalac Hydrolysed Milk is part of a complete range of products specially developed to meet the nutritional needs of infants.

Benefits

  • Protein hydrolysis: Novalac Hydrolysed uses fully hydrolysed proteins, which means that cow's milk proteins have been broken down into smaller fragments to facilitate digestion and reduce the risk of allergic reactions in babies with CMPA or other digestive sensitivities.
  • Complete nutrition: Contains all the nutrients needed for the proper growth and development of babies from birth to 36 months of age, providing a safe and nutritious option for babies with special dietary needs.
  • Lactose-free: Novalac Hydrolyzed is a lactose-free formula, making it suitable for babies with lactose intolerance as well as cow's milk protein allergy.
  • Adapted to multiple stages: This formula is designed for babies from birth to 36 months of age, making it a versatile option to meet the nutritional needs of babies with food allergies or digestive sensitivities at different stages of their development.

Who is it suitable for?

Novalac Hydrolysed is indicated for the dietary management of infants and children aged 0-36 months with cow's milk protein allergy.

It is also suitable for babies with lactose intolerance as Novalac Hydrolysed is formulated without lactose.

Directions for use

  1. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling utensils and formula.
  2. Boil drinking water for at least 1 minute and then allow to cool to lukewarm (approximately 40-50°C). You can use a kettle or heat the water in a pot and let it cool.
  3. Pour the required amount of water into the sterilised bottle according to the manufacturer's instructions. Refer to the dosage chart on the formula bottle to determine the exact amount of water required.
  4. Add the corresponding amount of Novalac Hydrolyzed powder to the bottle, using the measuring spoon included in the package or a clean, dry measuring spoon for each measure of water.
  5. Cap the bottle and shake gently until the powder is completely dissolved and the formula is homogeneous.
  6. Check the temperature of the formula by placing a few drops on the back of your hand to make sure it is warm but not hot.
  7. Feed your baby the prepared bottle immediately after you have prepared it. If there is any formula left over after feeding, discard it and do not reuse it.
