Lutein and zeaxanthin are two carotenoids with antioxidant properties that provide several benefits: They help reduce oxidative damage caused by blue light, a component of sunlight. They protect the eyes from photochemical reactions thanks to their antioxidant capacity. Oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs) are substances with a powerful antioxidant capacity which, in combination with antioxidant vitamins, have a synergistic effect. In addition, OPCs improve vascular function, which is often impaired in diseases associated with the retina. In addition to lutein, zeaxanthin and OPCs, Nurane Retina also contains vitamins E and C, as well as trace elements such as zinc and copper. These additional nutrients contribute to maintaining eye health and support the proper functioning of the retina.
