Menforsan repellent shampoo has been enriched with natural repellents that are very effective, such as citronella and geraniol. On the one hand, the components of citronella such as citronellol, circene and nerol work as an effective insect and mosquito repellent by masking themselves with other smells that are attractive to insects and thus bring them closer.
On the other hand, the formula contains geraniol, which is an essential component of flowers and essential oils and has strong insecticidal and phytosanitary repellent properties; it is effective when washed off to prevent mosquito bites.
