1. Clean the wound according to local protocol. 2. Remove Leukomed Sorbact from the sheath using an aseptic technique. 3. Remove the protective tape at the bottom of the dressing and apply it to the wound. Do not stretch the dressing while putting it on. 4. It is important that the green Leukomed® Sorbact® fabric comes in direct contact with the wound area. 5. To increase the adhesive power, smooth the dressing firmly onto the skin, especially at the edges. Carefully remove the application tape using the blue handling strip. Slowly pull it back against the skin to prevent the dressing from lifting. 7. For gentle removal, stretch the dressing to release the adhesion. Pull one edge of the dressing away from the foot. Do not pull upwards or backwards. 8. Avoid lifting the dressing for inspection. The frequency of dressing change depends on the condition of the wound, i.e. the level of exudate and the presence of infection. The dressing should be changed at least twice a week.
Suitable for all skin types
