What is it and what is it for?

Lactoflora Colicare is a food supplement developed by the Lactoflora brand, designed for babies and young children. It has a composition based on two probiotic strains that will help to restore the intestinal flora of the child. This will help to put an end to episodes of irritability, uncontrollable crying or gas and colic.

Its formula is designed not to contribute to the production of gas, as it will help to protect the intestine from the harmful bacteria that produce it. In addition, this effect will also help to reduce the intestinal pain that the child may suffer.

As it is specifically manufactured for children, this supplement has a very high tolerance. It will be safe for them to ingest either diluted or directly, without any adverse or negative effects occurring.

To measure the dosage, this product comes with a removable, highly accurate dropper so you never exceed the recommended dose. In addition, it is easy to wash and sterilise when necessary, making it very easy to use on a daily basis.

Who is it suitable for?

It is specifically indicated for babies and toddlers who suffer from colic, uncontrollable crying and irritability. Its formula is gluten and lactose free, so it is also suitable for coeliacs and children intolerant to lactose and its derivatives.

Directions for use

The recommended dose is 5 drops per day. They can be ingested either directly in the mouth or diluted in milk at a maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius. It can also be mixed with other liquids, but these should not be too hot. Avoid mixing with boiling milk.

It is advisable to take it together with the first milk intake of the day. In addition, if the baby is taking an antibiotic, wait 2 hours before taking this product or vice versa. The recommended dose should be consumed for a minimum of 2 continuous weeks to see optimal results.

Contraindications

Store in a cool, dry environment. Once opened, no refrigerator is required. Never use as a substitute for any food, diet or a healthy, active lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. In case the baby suffers from any gastrointestinal condition, it is advisable to consult a paediatrician to find out if it is suitable to consume this product.
