Folic acid is a form of folate, a water-soluble B vitamin, which is also known as vitamin B9.

Women planning a pregnancy within the next 3 months or those who are already pregnant.
1000 mcg folic acid.
Take 1 tablet daily with a glass of water, preferably with a meal.
Essential for cell production, recommended for women of childbearing age to prevent neural tube defects.
