What are they and what are they for?

Hansaplast dressings are ideal for pain relief, as well as acting as an anti-contamination barrier for small wounds. One of their main functions is to maintain a moist environment to facilitate healing, rehydrate tissues and promote the generation of new cells.

Its application does not cause trauma to the wound or surrounding skin, does not cause allergies and its manufacturing materials are inert. This in order to avoid adverse reactions in the lesion. Made with flexible and hypoallergenic components, they have a soft and pleasant texture. Their ability to adhere allows the dressing to remain properly on the wound and can be removed without causing pain.

The composition material of these wound dressings is resistant and water-repellent. The core in direct contact with the skin is non-sticky, so it does not damage the wound. They come in the form of strips of 2 different sizes: 19 x 72 mm and 30 x 72 mm, to be used according to the size of the cut on the skin.

These patches are designed to be in direct contact with the wound to promote healing and protect it from significant damage. Their use is important for pain relief due to the compression they exert on the area and the protection they provide from external trauma. Sealing a sore or cut with a dressing optimises the clotting process and helps stop bleeding.
