It is a medicine in the form of effervescent sachets that belongs to the antacid group. It has a refreshing orange flavour and is used for the relief and treatment of symptoms of heartburn and sour stomach.

Who it is intended for
Intended for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Instructions for use
The usual dose is 1 sachet dissolved in a glass of water when necessary, although you should wait 1 to 3 hours after meals.
Do not exceed the maximum dose of 2 injections in one day.
Contraindications
Do not use ENO Fruit Salt orange sachets:
In children under 12 years of age.
If you are allergic to any of the active ingredients or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
In case of heart, liver or kidney disease.
If you have high blood pressure.
If you are following a low sodium diet.
Side effects
Like all medicines, ENO Fruit Salt orange flavoured sachets may cause side effects, although not everybody will experience them. Such effects are of unknown frequency and may include: mild irritation of the stomach or intestine, belching, flatulence and swelling of the abdomen.
Composition
The active ingredients of ENO Fruit Salt Orange Envelopes are: each 5 g effervescent powder contains 2,285 mg sodium hydrogencarbonate, 2,155 mg anhydrous citric acid and 500 mg anhydrous sodium carbonate. The other ingredients are: sodium saccharin, orange flavouring, orange yellow S (E-110).
Pharmaceutical advice
We recommend that you inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, as they may interact with each other.
Do not consume milk or milk products at the same time as taking this medicine, but at different times, and do not take it immediately after too much food and drink, but wait at least 1 hour.
