The duration of effect of this product ranges from 6 to 8 hours. It is based on ethanol or ethyl alcohol, an organic compound that is highly effective against insects.

The formula also contains N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide (DEET), one of the most widely used substances to repel insects and mites. This component, in addition to being used as an insecticide, is ideal for creating all kinds of lotions and can be applied, without any problem, on human skin.
