BRONCHOTOS Pediatric Syrup 200 ml is a solution formulated with natural ingredients that relieves coughing in children without having to give them chemical medicines. Its adequate consumption reduces the discomfort that children feel when coughing, tiredness, fatigue, nighttime awakenings and helps to eliminate the mucus that accumulates in the bronchial tubes. The anti-inflammatory and expectorant qualities of dried marshmallow extract are used in the preparation of this paediatric syrup.

In addition to relieving coughs, this ingredient helps to clear the respiratory passages when a child is suffering from flu, laryngitis, pharyngitis or bronchitis. Marshmallow extract can also act as an effective aid in cases of childhood asthma, thanks to the mucilage it contains, which coats the mucous membrane of the oesophagus to reduce irritation. It also reduces inflammation in the airways to allow more oxygen into the lungs.

BRONCHOTOS syrup also includes the antimicrobial and antioxidant qualities of honey, which help to disinfect the respiratory tract and strengthen the immune system. This sweet ingredient contains amino acids, minerals, vitamins, flavonoids, phenols, enzymes and organic acids. BRONCHOTOS syrup has a pleasant strawberry aroma that makes it more pleasant for children and helps them to take it more easily.

BRONCHOTOS syrup is suitable for children between 1 and 11 years of age suffering from dry cough and cough with mucous secretions. It is also suitable for children who are intolerant or allergic to lactose and gluten.

This syrup contains a dispenser which should be used to give the correct amount to each child, according to their age. Children over 1 year of age: 5 ml of syrup, three times a day; children aged 2-3 years are given 5 ml of syrup, 3-4 times daily; children aged 4-5 years can be given 7.5 ml 4 times per day; children aged 6-11 years will take 15 ml, 4 times daily.

This syrup is not suitable for children under 1 year of age and not for those who are allergic or intolerant to any of its components. Not for use by pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Each 15 ml dose contains: 143 mg dried marshmallow extract, 750 mg honey, xylitol, xanthan, anhydrous glycerol, citric acid, strawberry flavouring, methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate, purified water. Contains no alcohol or artificial colouring.

Do not take if allergic to marshmallow or honey or any other ingredient of this medical device listed in section 2. In case of allergic reaction, please stop using the product and consult your doctor. 15 ml of Bronchotos Paediatric contains 2.76 g xylitol. The caloric value of xylitol is 2.4 kcal / g. Warnings and precautions Use in patients with sugar intolerance: Patients with hereditary fructose intolerance or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this product as it contains honey. Use in patients with diabetes: 15 ml of Bronchotos Paediatric contains 0.3 UC (carbohydrate units). Use in pregnancy and lactation: The use of Bronchotos Paediatric is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation. Use in children: Children under 3 years of age should consult a doctor to rule out the presence of more serious diseases. It is not recommended for use in children under 1 year of age. Concomitant use of Bronchotos Paediatric with medicines: If you are taking medicines, it is recommended to take them ½ hour to 1 hour before or after taking Bronchotos Paediatric. Please consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen after 5 days or if you develop breathlessness, fever or purulent sputum while taking Bronchotos Paediatric. Bronchotos Paediatric contains methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate and propyl-4-hydroxybenzoate as preservatives. These may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed). STORAGE Do not use this product after the expiry date which is stated on the label and container. The expiry date refers to the last day of the given month. Do not store above 25°C. Close the bottle tightly after use. After opening the bottle, use the contents within 4 weeks. Store the bottle in its original container to protect it from light. Keep this medical device out of the sight and reach of children. For the protection of the environment, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medical devices that you no longer use. This will help to protect the environment.
