Diarrhoea is an upsetting gastrointestinal disorder that can be accompanied by cramps and nausea. If left untreated, diarrhoea can lead to dehydration, weakening the whole body. Diarrhoea may come on suddenly and result in atypically liquid or loose stools three or more times a day.
Diarrhoea is not only uncomfortable but can also lead to weakness and dehydration, as essential electrolytes and nutrients are lost. Children and the elderly are most susceptible to dehydration caused by diarrhoea.
Dimexanolô is indicated for adults and children suffering from acute and chronic diarrhoea, not only to act against diarrhoea but also to restore lost fluids and salts.

Precautions: This treatment does not preclude the need for fluid and electrolyte therapy if required. This may be especially important for children and the elderly. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not take Dimexanol™ if allergic to any of the ingredients, in case of diets highly restricted in sodium and/or aluminium and in case of phenylketonuria, kidney problems, or hyperaluminemia. Do not take in case of diabetes or diets very restrictive in sugars. In case of pregnancy or breast-feeding, it is recommended to consult a doctor before use. In case of recurrent diarrhoea with repeated use of Dimexanol™, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Storage: Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store in a dry place at 25°C or below.
