Its composition is based on four main ingredients, two of which originate from controlled organic cultivation. These are mullein extract (Verbascum thapsus) and marshmallow root extract (Althaea officinalis). The first has antibacterial properties, directly attacking the bacteria that cause phlegm or mucus. The other extract works by inhibiting the growth of these bacteria, and provides an anti-inflammatory effect that helps soothe irritation. In addition, marshmallow root removes mucus that is too thick.
